the Citizen Schools Pathway
Each team built in a participating school will be responsible for working to effect some form of change - be it within the school or (more likely) in the local community.
These 'projects' tend to follow a number of key milestones, including:
Building alliances with local community alliesListening to local communities to explore what the common issues areMoving from identified problems to key issues to work aroundResearching solutions and alternativesAnalysing who has the power to say yes to these proposalsTaking action to build a relationship with these 'power players'Negotiating change
